Updates
On October 31st 2006, the Minister of Finance announced a proposed change to the taxation of Canadian Trusts. The announcement had a serious negative impact on the investments of hard-working Canadians. Our objective – first and foremost – is to meet our responsibilities to our Unitholders. We are focused on finding a solution to the problems created by the announcement. Our coalition has been formed to address the unique issues related to energy trusts and their important contribution to the Canadian economy.
